Join us for a live Q&A broadcast with the Choreographer and Artistic Director of Ballet British Columbia, Emily Molnar ahead of Ballet BC’s visit to Birmingham Hippodrome from Fri 16 – Sat 17 Mar.

Recognised for their fresh creativity, this 18-strong company of dancers have been delighting international audiences with their unique blend of cool, classical elegance and contemporary flair. Now, for the first time, Ballet British Columbia embark on their first ever tour of the UK with an exhilarating evening of breathtaking dance by three internationally celebrated female choreographers, including Emily herself.

Emily Molnar will present the first in a triple-bill of inspirational works by the company; 16+, a piece inspired by the work of Jeanette Winterson and Emily Dickinson which sparks with explosive, fast-paced choreography that pushes the dancers to their athletic and technical limits. The bill is completed by Solo Echo by Olivier award-winning Sadler’s Wells Associate Artist and former Ballet BC dancer Crystal Pite inspired by two Brahms’ sonatas for cello and piano and Bill, a daring piece of raw beauty by Tel Aviv-based choreographer Sharon Eyal.
