Do you remember the first time theatre took your breath away?
Join us as a founder member of our 1899 Club and help us pass on this feeling to those less fortunate, one by one, for many more years to come.
A small monthly donation is all it takes.
Birmingham Hippodrome has been changing the lives of local people through the magic of theatre since 1899. From our roots in Circus and Variety to our role today as a world-class theatre, we have been at the beating heart of local communities for decades.
By making a monthly donation you will support the theatre you love, and give something back to your local community.
Your donation will take us closer to our vision of creating One Million Hippodrome Moments. Every year we want to reach 500,000 people through our theatre programmes and a further 500,000 children, young people and vulnerable communities with low-cost or free activities. Explore how your donation will make a difference below, and join today.
Donating just £10 a month will help us transform lives through the power of theatre and the arts. And if you can Gift Aid your support, you will add a further £30 at no extra cost to you, creating an annual gift of £150!
- Ensure everyone is welcome at Birmingham Hippodrome, improving access for all – including those with disabilities and access needs
£10 a month would pay for a signer to interpret a live performance for deaf audiences
- Preserve our historic auditorium and improve our current facilities – remodelling our foyers, replacing our theatre seats and updating our performance spaces
£10 a month would replace a seat in our auditorium
- Support our education work in schools and colleges, and in disadvantaged communities across the West Midlands
£10 a month would fund a creative workshop for 30 schoolchildren
On joining you will receive a personal thank you letter, and accreditation in our programmes, brochures and online materials.
We’ll also keep you up to date with how your monthly commitment is changing lives.
Become part of the Hippodrome family today and thank you for your support
