Join us on Wednesday 22 February  at our next Young Community Drop-In session, which has been developed for young people, by young people. No need to book, just drop in!

From 12pm – 6pm, young people aged 14+ will be able to hang out, connect with each other and take part in creative workshops at the Hippodrome.

The sessions are open to young people of all levels and abilities and our Young Advocates will be on hand to support anyone on the day.

From 12pm:

Producing with Diandra: Learn about producing with Diandra McCalla, who was the Lead Producer of the Birmingham 2022 Neighbourhood Festival Sites.

Crafts with Tia: Chill and make easy to do crafts with Drop In favourite, Tia.

From 2.30pm:

Intro To Voice For Acting with Ellen: Join Ellen Hartley, a voice and text practitioner at the Royal Shakespeare Company for a playful exploration of sounds and words.

Contemporary and Afro Dance with ACE Dance and Music: Take part in a high-energy dance workshop with ACE Dance and Music, using contemporary and afro styles.

Beatbox Basics with Jasmine: Meet Jasmine Gardosi, Birmingham’s Poet Laureate and multiple slam champion. Mess with words and make your own rhythms, tongue twisters and beatbox poems.

From 6pm:
