Calling all practitioners, artists, freelancers, teachers and creatives – we’d like to invite you to our Birmingham Hippodrome Learning and Participation Facilitator Networking Event on Thursday 11 May.

Starting at 6.30pm, the evening is an opportunity for creatives with experience or interest in working with young people, both in education and community settings, to meet other facilitators in the city and start building relationships with like-minded people.

The informal event also provides a space for individuals to connect with the Hippodrome and to talk to our Learning & Participation team about how you can get involved with future projects and opportunities.Members of our L&P team will be on hand to talk more about the work they do, including working with our Hippodrome Education Network schools to run weekly workshops and create shows. Our team also run a range of creative programmes for young people outside of education settings, including making new work, mentoring, consultation and more.

The relaxed schedule for the evening includes opportunities to socialise and share practical games for young people. There will also be space for you to facilitate your own game or activity at the event, so if you’d like to show us what you do, please register your interest via the sign-up form. This informal event is open to everyone, so if you haven’t facilitated before but would like to find out more, please do still come along.
