Birmingham Hippodrome’s pantomime is back (oh yes it is!), with the star-studded, action-packed Dick Whittington.

Again this Birmingham pantomime Dick Whittington this year was/is a success, laughter all the way, Matt Slack makes the pantomime alive, I cried with laughter by his humorous jokes yet again. Been going for years and will continue in 2023. Great performance by all the cast. Bravo !!

As always fantastic Matt slack is mr pantomime this year two friends came from london to see the pantomime they loved it so much and said london was not as good as the Birmingham one we have already booked for this year s jack and the beanstalk with the two Londoners included well done the Birmingham hippodrome

Please go and see this excellent panto. It is so funny and very topical. Matt Slack is just brilliant as always and guaranteed to have you laughing all through the performance. Loved the rest of the cast as well. A great mix of people. Just what you need to cheer you up in these hard times.

wonderful, amazing, excellent show full of fun & laughter, escape route from concerns/Perfect show,Great costumes amazing animal, & bus, & fire etc. etc. Everything about the show & afternoon was out of this world. Well, what an absolute joy this pantomime is. A group of 10 of our family saw Dick Whittington yesterday afternoon. Our ages ranged from 5 years to 83 years. From spectacular sets and costumes to the professionalism of all the participants, It is a truly memorable show and great fun. Thanks to you all. The younger members of our group loved seeing Dr Raj and the older ones loved Matt Slack and Marti Pellow.

OMG, what a show! Amazing costumes and set, together with a fabulous cast and hilarious script! Festive entertainment at its best and too many”laugh-out-loud” moments to mention. Matt Black is truly fantastic in the role of Dick Whittington and brings bucket-loads of energy and comedy genius to the production. This year’s panto at the Birmingham Hippodrome is, by far, the very best we’ve ever seen.

I am in my 80th year and have been to Pantomimes over the years with my children, my Grandchildren and taken the children of my peers who would otherwise not have experienced a Panto but Dick Whittington at Birmingham Hippodrome surpasses all others I have ever seen – a perfect A A balance of everything a Panto should be; innuendo, slapstick, spectacular visual effects, laughter, fright, magnificent colour, outrageous costumes and a superb cast led by The brilliant Matt Slack Fabulous in every way and we’ll worth the cost of a ticket!
