Information

Unrequited love, love for sale, selling out, art, cinema, cinematic stardom – these are some of the themes of Sunset Boulevard.

How Billy Wilder’s film evokes, dramatises and conveys these themes and a comparison to how the musical does the same will be the subject of this talk by Jose Arroyo.

Jose Arroyo is Principal Teaching Fellow in Film Studies at the University of Warwick.

This talk is presented as part of SHOUT Festival of Queer Arts and Culture.
