Doreen Tipton makes some furry fur-ends
Doreen Tipton was feline friendly when she took a break from panto to pay a visit to the furry residents of Birmingham’s Kitty Café in Grand Central. Doreen, who is playing the role of Doreen the Cat in Birmingham Hippodrome’s Dick Whittington made plenty of new fur-ends during the trip.
Doreen joins one of Britain’s most celebrated stars Marti Pellow as The Ratman, Birmingham Panto favourite Matt Slack as Dick Whittington, TV Doctor and presenter Dr Ranj as Spirit of the Bells, musical sensation Suzanne Shaw as Alice and Birmingham favourite Andrew Ryan as Felicity Fitzwarren.
With sets and costumes from The London Palladium, spectacular special effects and plenty of audience participation, Dick Whittington is the perfect chance for audiences to come together and share the magic of live theatre.

It was an absolutely marvellous production, every member of the were fantastic and very entertaining. I haven’t laughed that much in years, just what we needed. Then all that topped off with the wonderful Marti Pellow, just fabulous!
