For more than 125 years, Birmingham Hippodrome has been at the heart of the city’s cultural life, welcoming over 600,000 visitors annually to our world-class touring programme while building a reputation for producing bold, relevant new work.
What many people don’t know about is the work we do ‘off-stage’ as an independent charity. Through inclusive learning & participation and talent development programmes, access initiatives, and free outdoor arts festivals, Birmingham Hippodrome opens the door to the ‘goosebumps’ of theatre to over 450,000 children, young people and vulnerable families across Birmingham and the West Midlands.
We don’t receive any regular, public funding so we rely on your support to help…
