This brand new show has been created and performed by our incredible young performers’ (ages 12-16 years) and written by local playwright and reality TV junkie, Will Jackson. Inspired by the performer’s ideas, interests and creativity, our brilliant youth theatre artists and Will have joined forces to turn our youth theatre’s wildest dreams into reality to devise ‘The Final Showdown’ – a bold, bonkers, theatrical spectacular.

In this epic smackdown, these two noble art forms will battle for your entertainment and the future of their craft. Featuring evil robots, Shakespearean meltdowns, and killer showtunes from hit musicals (including Wicked, Les Mis, SIX!, Waitress, and Mamma Mia!), this show is a wild, witty, and wonderfully weird satire of modern entertainment.

It’s The Traitors meets Britain’s Got Talent, with superheroes, jazz hands and a Bridgerton-style football drama. Yes, really. Who will win? Who will cry? Who will be chased offstage by a gang of vengeful pigeons?
