Across the weekend, there were dance battles as part of the B-SIDE x Break Mission prelims and finals and a graffiti writers and artists showcase featuring the hottest talents from Coventry and UK delivered by Graffitiartist.com and In Paint We Trust.

Showcasing the UK’s finest talents, B-SIDE is THE Hip-Hop event of the year!

As part of UK City of Culture 2021, B-SIDE headed to Coventry for an incredible celebration of all things Hip-Hop.

This annual festival brought together extraordinary artists and breath-taking acts from across all four elements of Hip-Hop: breakin’, graffiti, DJ’ing and MC’ing.

Commissioned as part of UK City of Culture 2021 and working in partnership with Positive Youth Foundation and organisations and artists across the city, CVX is a pioneering arts activism programme curated by young people around the themes of community, unity and social change. CVX x B-SIDE ft OneWave launched the CVX programme.

On Saturday evening, there was an outstanding line-up of Hip-Hop and grime artists curated by OneWave and JAY1.

The event was live streamed and viewable on a big LED screen in an iconic city centre location – underneath Coventry’s infamous ringroad!
