Birmingham Hippodrome’s 125-year history is rich with the collective memory of generations of theatregoers. They all shared unforgettable live performances and “goosebumps” moments both on and off our stages.
Hippodrome Tomorrow is our commitment to ensuring that future generations continue to experience the same joy and transformational moments.
Our spectacular on stage productions attract around 600,000 people a year and far beyond our front doors our extensive programme of education, participation, access, artist and musical theatre development and free festivals furthers our impact across the West Midlands and beyond. We work extensively with young people, families and local communities who may not otherwise be able to access arts and culture.
We want our beautiful building and our inspiring programmes to remain relevant, world-class and sustainable for the long term, ensuring that Birmingham Hippodrome continues to sit at the heart of the city region’s cultural offering for generations to come.
