Will you join the Stahlbaum family for our Fundraising Gala Dinner at Birmingham Royal Ballet’s The Nutcracker this November? 

Join us for an evening to remember alongside Sir Peter Wright’s much loved production of The Nutcracker, at one of two spectacular fundraising Gala Dinners on Fri 24 & Sat 25 November. Places cost £160pp.

Expect festive sugar plum sparkle as you join 160 fellow dance fans to enjoy this much loved production, along with a sumptuous three course menu created especially for the evening.  Your top-price theatre ticket will ensure you enjoy the performance in style, before you return to the Gala Dinner space for some post-show surprises.

Birmingham Hippodrome and Birmingham Royal Ballet are celebrating their special partnership with the launch of a new Ballet and Dance Access Fund, which will be unveiled at the Gala Dinners this November.

This promises to be an enchanting evening at the theatre, and your support will enable us reach even more people with the magic of dance during 2018.

Event Format

Guest will be welcomed to the event with a drinks reception from 5pm. 

Each place costs £160pp and will include:

  • A drinks reception on arrival
  • A sumptuous three-course dinner in our Patrick Centre
  • Performance of The Nutcracker, from a top-price seat
  • Dessert in our Patrick Centre studio during the interval
  • A post-show reception

Dress code: Smart, sugar plum sparkle optional!

Expect a few magical surprises from a host of Nutcracker characters throughout the evening!

How To Book

Tickets cost £160 per person or £1,600 for a table of 10.

If you have already booked a show ticket for either evening, you will just need to upgrade to the dinner event – price advised on inquiry.

Guests booking 10 places or less will be seated on mixed tables with like-minded supporters and lovers of ballet.

Help us bring ballet to life

During the Nutcracker Fundraising Gala Dinners we will unveil our new Ballet and Dance Access Fund, which will enable us to welcome hundreds more newcomers to Birmingham Royal Ballet’s and Birmingham Hippodrome from 2018. The fund will help support:

  • Greater Access To Assisted Performances
    • including audio-description for blind and partially-sighted patrons, touch tours and more!
  • More Relaxed Dance Performances
    • for those on the autistic spectrum and with complex disabilities
  • Specially Discounted Tickets
    • for disadvantaged or under-represented groups of young people

All funds raised at each dinner will support the new Access Fund – so we hope you will be generous in supporting our Fundraising on the evening itself through our Prize Draw.

Together, we can bring the joy of ballet and dance to all – ensuring everyone is welcome to enjoy Birmingham Royal Ballet and Birmingham Hippodrome.
