It may be November outside but it’s fair to say that things are well and truly hotting up at Birmingham Hippodrome this week!

This week saw the arrival of Simon Beaufoy’s classic British comedy, The Full Monty – the story of six out of work Sheffield steelworkers with nothing to lose, took the world by storm!

Based on his smash-hit film and adapted for the stage by Oscar-winning writer Simon Beaufoy, this hilarious and heartfelt production stars Gary Lucy, Anthony Lewis, Andrew Dunn, Louis Emerick, Chris Fountain, Kai Owen alongside a cast of fourteen and is set to a soundtrack of great songs  by Donna Summer, Hot Chocolate and Tom Jones!

If you’ve yet to grab a piece of the action, a handful of tickets for The Full Monty are still available with best availability on Wednesday 16th and Thursday 17th Nov at 2pm.

Here’s just a taster of what audiences and critics have been saying about the show on social media. Plus, read on to hear what Kai Owen, a.k.a Gary, thought of last night’s sell-out crowd!
