“We are launching some brand new sharing platters available before some of our upcoming International Dance Festival Birmingham shows, with Cuban, Dutch and Canadian themes to fit in with the nationalities of some of the visiting dance companies, plus other platters like smoked fish, garlic and rosemary baked Camembert, rare roast beef salad and some tantalising mini dessert platters!

“The Dutch platter is delicious and consists of Bitterballen meat balls – diced beef, onions and carrots bound together with a rich beef sauce chilled made into balls then covered in breadcrumbs and deep fried. Soured herrings – herrings and onions soured in white wine vinegar sugar spices. Red onion pickle which is sliced red onions in vinegar with star anise, peppercorns and flat parsley. A dutch smoked sausage and also green salad roasted vine tomatoes. Finished off with appleflappen which is a Dutch apple and sultana turnover – I’d really recommend this if you’re coming to see NDT2.”

Platters will be available in our Circle Restaurant before performances from Nederlands Dans Theater 2 and Cloud Gate Dance Theatre of Taiwan.  Platters will also be available after Carlos Acosta shows but must be pre-ordered.
