The Marc Fitch Fund provided a grant to assist in the research, collation, preservation and digitisation of our early heritage as part of our Hippodrome Heritage project.
This was one of several trust funders that invested in order to bring our heritage to life. Other trust funders included: The Mackintosh Foundation, The Aurelius Charitable Trust, The Oakley Charitable Trust, The Richard Burns: Thousandth Man Charitable Trust and The Alan Woodfield Trust.
Together with our major partner, Heritage Lottery Fund, these grants have breathed new life into our history.
You can see the results the next time you visit the theatre in the form of our touch tables located in the theatre foyers, and at our heritage website, www.birminghamhippodromeheritage.com
