||By purchasing a ticket by telephone, in person over the counter, via the desktop or mobile website, or via an agency, you are agreeing to these terms and conditions of sale.|
|•||Tickets are sold by Birmingham Hippodrome Theatre Trust Ltd, Registered Charity Number 510842, at Hurst Street, Southside, Birmingham B5 4TB, on behalf of producers, promoters and event organisers.|
|•|| We reserve the right to make alterations to the advertised programme
or casting where unavoidable.
Tickets are offered for sale subject to availability. All ticket prices quoted by Birmingham Hippodrome in print and online are subject to change at any time. In response to demand, we may adapt prices, seating areas, and discounting. We may also limit or restrict access to concession rates. Always check online at www.birminghamhippodrometickets.com for most up to date prices or call us on 0844 338 5000.
|•||Please check your tickets carefully as mistakes cannot always be rectified after the event.|
|•||Discounts cannot be combined with other offers, or applied retrospectively, and can be withdrawn by us at any time.|
|•||Birmingham Hippodrome Theatre Trust Ltd reserves the right to make additional targeted special ticket offers in addition to those published in brochures or on websites from time to time, and to withdraw them at any time.|
|•||Tickets are sold for use by the buyer only (and his or her party) and are not for resale for commercial gain by the holder. We reserve the right to cancel tickets and refuse entry where this condition is breached.
|•||All bookings made over the telephone and via the desktop website are currently subject to a postage fee from £1, unless they are made within seven days of the performance or booked in person over the counter. Bookings made within seven days of the performance will be held for collection at the box office.|
|•||Birmingham Hippodrome ticket transactions incur a fee of 5% or a flat rate of between 50p and £1 per ticket included in the prices quoted for groups/schools. Non-group cash purchases in person at our Hurst Street box office do not incur this fee.|
|•||Birmingham Hippodrome Theatre Trust Ltd is an independent, registered charity (No. 510842) operating not-for-profit. It does not receive revenue funding from any public source and retains only a small percentage of the ticket price.|
|•||The transaction charge supports the theatre directly, and enables us to offer our own in-house sales service without relying on external agencies alone.|
|Members of Birmingham Hippodrome Friends Scheme are exempt from the transaction charge for their own tickets when a Friends discount applies. You can become a Friend when purchasing tickets by calling 0844 338 5000.|
|•||Agency charges vary. Patrons are encouraged to check carefully when booking.|
|•||Charges and allocations may vary and patrons are advised to check carefully when making their booking through an agency. Our main approved agencies are Ticketmaster and The Ticket Factory, though from time to time others are also used.|
|•||We can accept no responsibility for tickets or services purchased via an agency or third party, including group bookers.|
|•||Agency sales may be subject to different terms and conditions.|
|THEATRE TOKENS & GIFT VOUCHERS|
|•||Birmingham Hippodrome is not part of the West End Theatre Tokens scheme but offers its own popular Gift Vouchers for use as full or part payment in the purchase of tickets or in our restaurant. Our Gift Vouchers expire after 2 years.
|•||No change is offered in the restaurant when Gift Vouchers are used in payment.
|•||Our 5% transaction charge is levied on all redeemed vouchers for ticket purchases.|
|•||Vouchers cannot be replaced if lost or stolen and may not be accepted if damaged or altered. Photocopies are unacceptable.|
|TICKET EXCHANGES AND REFUNDS|
|•||Ticket exchanges may be available up to one week prior to a performance at our discretion and by agreement with producing companies. Exchanges can only be made for later performances of the same production, subject to a fee.|
|•||This exchange offer excludes Group Bookings of 10 or more tickets.
|•||Tickets cannot be cancelled and are non-refundable.|
|•||We reserve the right not to accept tickets for re-sale. However, when we do accept tickets for resale, this will only be once all other available tickets are sold, subject to a fee.|
|•||The producer or event promoter is primarily responsible for all refunds. Generally no ticket price will be refunded when more than half the performance has taken place, or if the interval has been reached.|
|•||We reserve the right to provide alternative seats to those purchased of the same or greater value.|
|CUSTOMER SERVICE, AGE GUIDANCE, YOUR SECURITY AND SAFETY
|•||We reserve the right to refuse admission where we believe other patrons' comfort, enjoyment or security may be affected.|
|•||Every patron entering the auditorium must be in possession of a ticket.|
Children under 3 years of age will NOT be admitted to performances as this may disturb other patrons’ enjoyment.
|•||For reasons of Health and Safety all children must be accompanied and sat with an adult at all times.|
|•||Any published advice about age suitability for any production is offered as a guide only. We consider Pantomime to be suitable for ages 3+ and some ballets to be suitable for ages 5+ (please check when booking). Comedians occasionally use stronger language in a live show than they would on television.
|•||Please note that for your security we reserve the right to carry out bag searches on arrival at the theatre.|
|•||Please note that the use of mobile phones, cameras and any form of video recording equipment is strictly prohibited anywhere in the auditorium.|
Only drinks purchased at Birmingham Hippodrome bars can be taken into the auditorium in plastic glasses provided at the bars.
|•||BH is a no-smoking venue. All smoking (including electronic cigarettes) is not permitted.|
