WNO EXTRA EVENTS
Make the most of your opera-going
This specially devised programme of events has been designed to maximize your enjoyment of our performances. You can book for ticketed WNO Extra events at the same time as your opera tickets. Tickets must be booked in advance for all events apart from Post-show cast talk-backs and Post-show discussions.

FREE PRE-PERFORMANCE TALKS

These 30-minute talks give you an expert introduction to each opera. You’ll be provided with everything you need to enjoy your evening. See each opera show page for details of talks. Please note that you will need a ticket to attend the pre-performance talks which can be obtained  when booking your performance tickets. The pre performance talks are free to attend however admission to the talks cannot be guaranteed without a ticket.

You can find out more about the opera you are attending by buying a programme in advance. WNO programmes are available by mail order, to be mailed following
the first performance of each opera in Cardiff, at a cost of £4 plus 50p postage and packing (cheque or credit/debit card only).

SURTITLES
For all operas, including those sung in English, a translation of the story is displayed on a screen above the stage in English. However, surtitles are not visible from rows S – Y in the Stalls and W – Y in the Circle. Surtitles may also not be visible from rows P – R in the Stalls. To take advantage of the surtitles please inform the Ticket Sales Office when booking your seat.
