Fancy trying some tango? What’s hot in hip hop? Now is your chance to find out why dance has the power to move and amaze.
This special festival taster means you and your friends can experience a little bit of everything for just £15. Come early from 6.30pm and sample our own Taste of Birmingham’s Best dancers as we showcase some of the young up and coming dancers in the Midlands.You can sample Belly, Bollywood and even some battling! There is even a chance to do some digital dancing – with the help of X –box. And lots of street food to whet your appetite for more dance!
The main show features outstanding live dance from Company Wayne McGregor, Birmingham Royal Ballet, BBC Young Dancer finalist (and Birmingham’s own) Vidya Patel, Argentine world tango champions German Cornejo and Gisela Galeassi, French hip hop company Pockemon Crew and the beautiful Faun from Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui.
