We welcomed in the Year of the Ox with a series of specially-commissioned films.

Birmingham Hippodrome commissioned local filmmaker, Craig Bush, and Artist, Frances Yeung, to create a series of short films reflecting the cultural celebrations and traditions that take place during Chinese New Year and how the local community in Southside has adapted these in light of the pandemic.

For seven days in a row, we released a new film each day.
