Spectacular green head dress

Aladdin is well into its run here and receiving spectacular 5* reviews.  But while the show continues to wow audiences on the main stage there’s a really big show going on behind the scenes in wardrobe.

Tony Priestley, Head of Wardrobe for Qdos, looks after a staggering 200 costumes which have been specially made for this year’s production.

Every day Tony is in early prepping for that day’s performance.   His team are constantly sewing, ironing and washing to make sure that the costumes dazzle every day.

There are more than 150 pairs of shoes and 30 wigs including the 9 costume changes Julian Clary has.
